Ultherapy is an all-natural alternative to the popular cosmetic treatment BOTOX® Cosmetic and works by stimulating collagen production to gradually smooth folds and wrinkles. The advanced ultrasound technology can stimulate deeper layers of tissue without causing damage or discomfort. The most impressive part of the treatment is that we can see the tissue underneath the skin before treating the area. This gives the opportunity to optimize the treatment.

The Procedure

Ultherapy relies on advanced technology, including ultrasound imaging, for locating and targeting the treatment areas that can accomplish your goals. When you come into our office, either Dr. Chetan Patil or Dr. Pooja Patil will consult with you to understand your aesthetic goals, before commencing treatment. The doctor can go over any questions you have about candidacy, safety, and other related concerns.

Each session of Ultherapy ranges from 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated. We will first cleanse the skin before applying a specialized gel. This gel can help the handheld device to move more easily and to keep your skin cool.

UltOnce you are ready, the handheld Ultherapy instrument emits ultrasound energy. This energy penetrates the skin to reach the deeper layers. Your medical practitioner will gently work across the treatment sites to ensure effective results. You can return to their daily activities immediately after the treatment, and the results will become apparent over the course of two to three months.
